Ovations new Adamas 2080SR combines new technology and old New England craftsmanship for this top-of-the line family of carbon fiber top guitars. Featuring Ovation’s own “AST” - Adamas Suspended Top” technology, each ultra-light carbon fiber top is precisely fitted into a suspension system that allows the top to vibrate more freely than traditionally constructed acoustic guitars.
The 2080SR features a Contour body is made from fiberglass cloth, molded in thin layers, that is engineered to push out tremendous acoustic energy and balanced tone.
An aluminum and ebony trimmed, teardrop shaped sound hole adds a fresh aesthetic vibe to the Adamas line up. Plugged in the 2080 is powered by Ovations OP Pro Studio preamp.
